I was traveling with the Industry Committee this week and I understand that Bill C 552, Act to amend the Telecommunications Act (Internet Neutrality) received First Reading on May 28th, 2008.
I will review Mr. Angus’ bill carefully and I will give your remarks due consideration when making my decision.
Thank you,

Honorable Raymond Simard,
I am writing as a resident of St. Boniface urging you to support Charlie Angus' bill on Net Neutrality.
As a resident of St. Boniface and active user of the Internet, I am concerned with some of the traffic throttling that has been occurring in some parts of Canada which is essentially Big Telecoms restricting the speed of the Internet for certain types of traffic.
Charlie Angus' bill would enshrine in law that net neutrality would be the norm letting people decide how to use the Internet and not Big Telecoms.
Please let me know if your intentions are to support this Bill.
Sincerely,
Mathieu Allard
